|Rescue Me ID: 14-12-21-00111Beethoven (male)|
Beethoven is a very smart 16-pound, 7-year-old male neutered Pekingese who needs a new home because owner is no longer able to care for him. He knows commands such as come, sit, sit-up, down and go night-night. He loves to travel in his crate and likes to sleep in it at night. He is great on walks with his harness. He also likes to play fetch with his ball for short periods. When he was a pup he was attacked by a neighbor dog and since then is nervous around other dogs. Beethoven will do best with an only-pet, no-child family. He likes routine. He is complete house trained. All shots are up to date and he is microchipped. (All records available.) Adoption to an older family would be best as that is what he is accustomed to. He likes to sit at the end of the recliner while owner watches TV in-between his walks! There is no adoption fee and Beethoven will come with his create, harness, and toys. If you will welcome Beethoven into a loving home as part of your family, please call Brent between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-223-6363. December 20, 2014. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-23-00283Lola (Angie) (female)|
LOLA (Angie) is a sweet, highly-socialized, well-behaved 8-year-old Shepherd mix who needs a new home with a family that has more time for her. She is good with all children as young as 2 years and is very good with cats and other dogs (she is lonely without her former companion). She is a quiet girl who enjoys lots of love and attention and would sit by your side all day. Lola is fully housebroken and knows many commands. She weighs about 45 pounds and has been spayed but does need to be updated on her shots (medical records available). Lola has lost her right rear leg following two incidents: first she was shot by someone doing target practice and then she was hurt defending her puppy companion from javelinas. Since one of her family members has many allergies, Lola now spends most of her time in the yard (coming inside on cold nights). There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Lola into a loving home as part of your family, please call Angie between 8 AM and 8 PM at 1-520-619-1055. November 22, 2014 (Less)
